This funding is being awarded within the framework of the Goethe-Institut’s program for providing international assistance to institutions active in the arts and civil society “International Relief Fund” and is only intended for expenditures which are necessary for meeting the funding object and are described in the attached financial plan. Expenditure on goods and services ordered by the grant recipient prior to conclusion of the con- tract and expenditure not related to the purpose of the grant may be covered by the grant are not (not even partially) financed.

The named of the Project Sustainability in Digital World and funding object:

- Digitalization of Archive

- Event Management on Digital Platforms

- Data structuring

-Archiving: Jazz Society has been archiving physical documentaries since it was established on 1996. Digitalization of all the books, posters, letter, newspapers, cassettes, vhs/beta recordings, etc would all be digitalized and publish so all could be reached. For the conversion to be made on the right quality, we would need assistance as well as equipment.

-Event management on digital platform: Up until today, all our events were held on, public places like venues, lounges, art galleries, museums, etc. Today, due to lack of social distancing and preferring homebased new lifestyle, we have to stream our events such as concerts, talks, keynote speeches, exhibitions, which highly requires full time attention, IT support and collaboration with third parties.

- Data structuring - Our current data structure is more manual than digital. This requires an art gallery to publish partial of them and a large area to store them all. Back in the days, it required a concert venue to perform, now it requires a professional sound recording as well. Back in the days we needed a suitable art gallery to exhibit, now we need a professional camera to capture those moments.

All these three innovate stages, requires help. Our aim is to expose jazz between cultures and make it reachable within across the borders. To keep up and to build sustainable cultural platforms we need to have staff management, required equipment and professional educational help by third parties.
