Scholarship

The Jazz Society supports students in graduate and post-doctoral education programs by establishing a "scholarship fund" in order to raise academic musicians in our country, to ensure that universities continue their jazz education departments, and be staffed.

Application Conditions: 

1-The applicant must be a Turkish Citizen.

2-Be entitled to pursue a master's, doctorate, or post-doctorate degree in the main jazz art branch abroad,

3- For undergraduate students, having a performance or research project within their field in the country or abroad,

4-For graduate and Post-Doc students: Have an institutional acceptance letter from the Jazz Major of a relevant Academy abroad,

5-One reference letter (Letter must be sent to info@cazdernegi.org)

 

Application Documents: 

1-Application Letter containing the contact information of the candidates, 

2-Curriculum vitae containing detailed academic education information,

3-Reference Letter: The referrer mails it to info@cazdernegi.org,

4-Application documents must be sent digitally to info@cazdernegi.org via e-mail. Applications submitted after the specified date will not be taken into consideration. 

5-Applications are evaluated by the Jazz Society Board of Directors.

6-It is expected that the beneficiaries of the Jazz Society Scholarship Fund will prepare a report when the project is completed and submit a file to the Jazz Society within 6 months together with the expenditure documents.

As a result of the announced results, the scholarships have been determined to be paid at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters of the 2023-2024 academic year, as 500 USD for Undergraduate and 1.500 USD for Post-Doc.
