In this concert organized in memory of Janusz Szprot, who made a name for himself as a pianist, composer, arranger, musicologist and educated many students at Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts for many years, renowned jazz vocalist Sibel Köse will be accompanied by Sebastian Frankiewicz on drums, Pawel Kaczmarczyk on piano and Wojciech Pulcyn on double bass.  

 Sibel Köse, one of Turkey's leading jazz vocalists and educators, has been the soloist of various projects and groups ranging from duos to large orchestras in Türkiye and abroad since 1987, taking part in important festivals and art events.  

 Jazz drummer Sebastian Frankiewicz graduated from the Jazz Department of the Katowice Music Academy and has won numerous awards in prestigious music competitions. He has performed at music festivals from Beijing to Santiago de Chile.  In 2022, he received a doctorate in art and is currently an assistant professor of jazz percussion at the University of Rzeszów.  

Pawel Kaczmarczyk has long been recognized as one of Europe's outstanding pianists. Working with prestigious labels such as ACT Music, Fresh Sound Records or Hevhetia, Kaczmarczyk is the third Polish jazz artist after Stanko and Wasilewski to have the chance to record his compositions for such a well-known and respected label with his album “Complexity In Simplicity”.  
 
Besides Poland, Wojciech Pulcyn has performed at many festivals in the USA, Germany, France, England, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Türkiye, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Serbia, Ukraine, Hungary, Belarus, Canada, Egypt and Lebanon. He has also worked with Turkish musicians such as Imer Demirer, Neşet Ruacan, Nilüfer Verdi and continues to work with many artists today.
