Mama's Big Band, founded by members of METU Jazz Ensemble, blends different arrangements and popular culture songs with music genres such as funk, fusion, latin, pop-jazz.  
Mama's Big Band was founded in 2022 by the members of METU Jazz Ensemble and all members of Mama's Big Band are musicians under the roof of METU.  Mama's Big Band aims to promote and popularize the creative world of improvised music.
